A digital space for print and sign company owners to connect.

Liquified Creative deployed, configured, and custom-built components on top of a WordPress platform that allowed potential members to register, existing members to renew, and lapsed members the opportunity to restore their membership, all online via self-service forms. Included with membership online self-service we added the capability to lock content to members, as well as provide alternative content to the public and non-members. One example of this dual content was monthly downloadable magazines. Members are provided the full file, while non-members are provided a preview with a call to action to become a member at the end. To ease the need for frequent updates, this feature also extended to the home page, where the cover of the latest uploaded issue is presented. At the completion of the project, LC performed training with NPSOA staff to educate them about the WordPress platform and AMS.

Challenge

Redesign the client’s website and allow them greater control over their content, but primarily bring the organization’s Association Management Software (AMS) in-house to provide them more features and control over their member data. The client needed data ported over to a new system that allowed them to no longer be tied to a monthly service and retain/preserve their membership data.

Approach

Liquified Creative worked with NPSOA to develop a look and feel that matched the character of the organization and their new logo (including a name change). Our team worked with the client to identify needs for the new system and then provide recommendations for components and custom development in order to provide one cohesive product and experience for their members. A core goal for the client was to allow members to self-serve as much as possible using the online portal, so it was a core focus to design, develop, and architect the site to funnel members into the new system and not paper invoices.
