Unofficial Background: Known as the crew’s “resident viking” Shawn leads the way in our client’s creative challenges and day-to-day operations. His creative insight, innovative vision, design background, and business experience offers Liquified Creative’s clients a superior level of quality along with a unique approach. With over 20 years of experience working on projects ranging from brand development to online website strategies, Shawn’s skills have assisted in elevating a number of local and national brands through extensive branding, marketing and web presence strategies. His philosophy of “living and breathing brands” has allowed Liquified Creative to integrate and elevate brands across multiple mediums and social environments.

His experience and award-winning creative in the non-profit/advocacy, healthcare, real estate, technology, maritime, events, and political sectors gives our crew a leverage in building both creative and successful campaigns in multiple markets.

Shawn is an alumni of the Maryland Institute College of Art (BFA) and is actively engaged in the local community through programs such as: Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation, SPCA of Anne Arundel County, Annapolis Summer Garden Theater, and various programs with the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. He is also an active member of the American Association of Political Consultants and the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.

Where are you from? I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland (outside of Washington, DC). Later I moved to Annapolis around age 10.

Random Fact About Yourself: My love for video production started when my friends and I (age 10) took command of my family’s video camera and made our own scary movies. Of course we also forced our parents to critique them.

Desert Island Movie: Garden State

Unofficial Background: I finished Grad School in DC in 2015 and decided to live and work there for a little bit. Once I had enough of living in the city, I decided to change my job and my address and move back to Annapolis. I’ve worked in this “industry” for about 4 years now and love (almost) every second of it. Especially all the seconds I’ve been working at Liquified. Besides work, from living in Annapolis for the majority of my life so far, I love all things water. Boating, crabbing, swimming and a general cliché Annapolis lifestyle. Not a huge fan of Winter. Avid dog lover.

Unofficial Background: I was born in Annapolis and raised on the Eastern Shore. I graduated from the University of Florida in the spring of 2020, fantastic timing I know (go Gators). I am a big sports fan and root for the Ravens, Orioles, and of course my Gators. I love going to music festivals, being outdoors, painting, and snuggling with my dog Jackson (named after Lamar Jackson duh).

Desert Island Movie: The Fast and the Furious (The only good one)

Unofficial Background: I was born into a Washington Football family and had my first baby pictures in a Washington onesie. Football games at FedExField were a family event since my grandparents have had season tickets since the 1970s, and if I wasn’t there, I was floating on the Bay in my Uncle’s boat. Nowadays, you can find me playing video games on my PC and in the kitchen making my favorite dish, Russell’s fried rice. I have a love for everything technology related, I also consider myself a movie buff and a musicophile.

Unofficial Background:  After living in Maryland for the majority of my life, I decided to head up north to the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I earned my bachelor’s degree. Following this, I moved back to Maryland and now live on Kent Island. When not working, I’m usually out shopping or snuggling with my two kittens (Nelson + Nathan).

Desert Island Movie: Tropic Thunder

Unofficial Background: I grew up in Maryland, but my family is from Hawaii. In high school, I spent most of my time playing sports (swimming, cross country, and lacrosse). As a fine artist, I decided to expand my skill set and find new mediums which led me to study graphic design at Towson University (2020) where I played rugby and danced Hula at a local Halau (Hawaiian dance group). When I’m not drawing or annoying people I usually waste my time playing hours of video games or enjoying a nice beverage on the weekends with friends.

Unofficial Background:  I have lived in Annapolis my whole life and even went to college not too far away in Salisbury, MD. Even though I love my hometown I love to travel. After graduating from college I lived in Florence, Italy, and traveled around Europe for the summer before returning home. Now I’m looking forward to saving up for my next traveling adventure
