Random Fact About Yourself: My audition video for season two of, “The Next Food Network Star” was one of ten selected to compete online and represent the final contestant position. After website voting by viewers concluded, I placed 6th and didn’t make it to the TV show. That was the same year that Guy Fieri won and he has gone on to Food Network stardom!

Unofficial Background: I’m a transplanted former executive chef, video producer/director, writer, Disney lifeguard, art director, actor, and marketing strategist who never grew up. I met my bride of 35 years while guarding on a raft at Disney Polynesian Resort. Three children and four grandchildren later, I’m still exploring Maryland, eagerly embracing laughter, creativity, and the simple things in life with family and friends. My life truly has not been measured by the number of breaths I’ve taken, but by the moments that have taken my breath away.
